Quick update on the Dublin event.
We decided a few weeks back that we needed to push out the dates for SOURCE Dublin. In essence, we didn’t have enough people signed up pre-August, and we learned from last year that many people in Dublin go on vacation this time of year, and if you don’t have the numbers pre-August for an early September event, it’s unlikely to change much in that time.
This has been a pretty crazy year for me, and trying to force the event to happen under the circumstances seemed pointless when we could just move the dates.
As a speaker myself, I understand the importance of providing speakers with a proper audience. As an attendee of conferences, I understand the networking value of having plenty of attendees to interact with, especially since one of the primary goals of SOURCE is to bring people together. This change allows us to make the event better for everyone involved.
We are still 100% committed to holding events in Dublin, and the new (and final!) dates will be June 26-27 2017 for the trainings and June 28-29 2017 for the conference itself.
It looks like we’ve been able to keep the entire agenda intact, so this will be the first time since running the event that I’ve had 10 full months to promote an event. I’m really looking forward to that, actually.
The upside is that when I moved the dates I was able to secure a larger lecture hall, so we can now hold up to 300 people instead of 200, so we get to have a bigger audience as a result.
As you might be able to tell from the date change, it helps tremendously to know well in advance who’s coming to the event, so to help make that easy for you, I’ve turned the Flash Sale price back on and set it to €99 through the month of September.
